The Fucking Emmy’s

So I get it, TV needs something to hold up and say “The other people in the room think I’m better than you!” and we get the TV version of the Oscars in…The Emmys.

So, because I’m good like that, the Emmy’s killed it. People actually watched it, like a lot of fucking people. What I cannot figure out is WHY?!?!

If you watch TV at all or are mildly addicted like I am, you know who’s going to win what. I won’t use this platform to argue just how royally fucked in the face LOST got because that’s just shit. But I digress.

ABC puts Jimmy Fallon on the air at night for reasons I still don’t understand, so he is the funniest guy on the network that wasn’t already nominated for an award. Jimmy Fallon just pisses me off in general because he still managed to let his “I ruined SNL” personality soak through while hosting, further confirming why I don’t watch his shit on a stick TV show.

Quick! Tell me who won the Emmy for “Best Dramatic Miniseries”! Yeah, that’s what I thought…

If you did watch the Emmy’s you couldn’t help but notice the socially awkward lesbian cowgirl in the crowd. Her name is Temple Grandin and Claire Danes won an award for portraying her. Bitch stole the show! Everyone the next day was asking about this horse riding rug muncher instead of the actress who won the award.

I also love that Jack Kevorkian is somehow no longer taboo to talk about because Al Pacino showed us his softer side.

One day your lacing thorazine cocktails for senior citizens, the next you’re sitting next to Cher and Ed O’Neil.

Award shows are a goddamned waste of time, no reason for their existence. Fucking asshole actors just need another reason to love themselves.

So in addition to TV I would like to talk about other things you can see on TV the happiest fun little blurbs made by people who spend millions to HOPE you see them, that’s right commercials!

I used to love a great and clever commercial. Bud Light (although proud sponsor of Walk Up Radio has in no way influenced this blog post) is kind of notorious for hilarious commercials and being trend setters. Then there’s Heineken commercials, like the one where the guys have “The Beer Closet”… priceless.

But lately it seems like all the really fun cool commercials are being cast aside for the cheesy horribly made “local guy” commercials.

Allow me to demonstrate.

Alexander and Catalano have a commercial where it looks like you’re staring into a pointillist painting and the image is very fuzzy, but after a moment…ah, yes…it becomes clear. It’s the fucking ugly mug of one of those ambulance chasing assholes.

My point being that you spend the ENTIRE commercial trying to figure out what the fuck you’re even looking at and then by the time it says “Alexander & Catalano” on the screen, you don’t give a fuck!

Even better than those fuckwads is Joe Stanley. All I can think of when I see that dude is the guy who brings “The Universe” to the little diamond dealer in “Men In Black”. Ya know, the dude with the monster melon?

So he has a commercial I feel like I see every 10 seconds and the announcer gives an example like…”So Joe, this couple had a car accident, what should they do?” And his response is “It could be any number of things, like this couple who had a car accident and didn’t know what to do…” Now go back and re-read that.

Finish the fucking story about the first couple! It’s just shit like this that pisses me off! If you’re going to produce a shitty ass local commercial for $11 at least make it so it makes fucking sense!

So you may be asking yourself, Kevin, it’s not just lawyers right? NO. Kevin Fear is my absolute favorite example of a douchebag just phoning it in. His commercials cost about $8 to produce and $100 to run, that’s a bad ratio. They always show his fat bearded ass, something NO ONE wants to see and he’s on some green screen flying through space or some retarded shit. I saw a commercial once where he was advertising the Blackberry line up of phones available at his stores. He had pictures of the different devices and they were labeled wrong. He had “Storm” in from of the Curve and “Cruve” in front of the Pearl and so on. Dude, you’re spending thousands of dollars to run the shit, you don’t have fucking spell check?

It has just occurred to me that if you live outside of the Syracuse area you may not be familiar with the names given in this blog… but come on, you can fill in the fucking blank anywhere you go with idiots like this.

We started out the show by paying tribute to last week’s show by playing a parody song to The Proclaimers “500 Miles.” Except ours was about Kenneth having sex with the 1,000 Pound Woman in NJ for $2,000. We also discussed how the dog that was thrown out the window here in Syracuse was able to raise $4,000 in like 20 minutes, but poor Kevin couldn’t raise a dime after his dog was mauled by another dog. But that’s Kevin’s life.

We also had a first on this week’s episode — our very first proposal! Congrats to Juan (a.k.a. Miguel) and Kristen! Plus, the very talented Jason Bean stopped by to perform some songs off his new album in which Josh played on. Killer guitar solos!

I am the typical guy I guess, I try to consider myself an athlete and as such I pay attention to what’s gong on in sports. I watch ESPN and listen to local sports on the radio to and from work.

I am FUCKING SICK of LeBron Fucking James!

There should be a drinking game, drink every time ESPN mentions the words “LeBron James” you will be hammered in 5 minutes. Shit, not just ESPN, ABC News, Dateline NBC, fucking Fox News pretends they care about basketball for 20 minutes just in case Republicans who invest in pro sports are watching.

If you don’t know what I am talking about… let me bring you up to speed.

This summer marks the biggest free trade season in history for the NBA. Players who are up for grabs include Carlos Boozer, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosch, Joe Johnson, LeBron James and as of this post, Amare Stoudemire has already signed with the Knicks.

So this is all ANYONE can talk about?

Maybe it’s because we’re in Syracuse and the biggest excitement in Pro Basketball we have to look forward to is Andy Rautins is playing just 5 short hours away with Amare on the Knicks, but seriously, why the fuck does anyone care?!?

I heard “analysts” talking this morning about LeBron foregoing $30million because he will make it up in endorsements. Let’s just bring that to scale.

This man, aged 25, could possibly to GIVE UP $30 MILLION because he wants to play on a team ready to win a Championship next year.

He will say, hey NY Lotto, I don’t want this jackpot, I would rather get a ring with “Champion” on it. I have no idea how to even fathom giving up $30 fucking million dollars.

Why should we give 3 fat fucks about the future of this ordeal when these people just literally can shit on a stack of $50s and it would do them more good.

And there, I am done ranting.

Speaking of being cheap, the crew discussed how drunk they could get on very little money. Some of it very disgusting and some very illegal. Have you ever Robbi’d your ass off?

I don’t understand soccer, and I don’t think many people here do…the only people that do are….the rest of the world but damnit, we’re America, we don’t need them. So just about every person has pointed out that much like the Shotput and Downhill Moguls, we get a little present once every 4 years and it’s the World Cup. Suddenly, much like the Olympics, everyone is an expert on soccer and everyone jumps on the bandwagon of Team USA for fear of being called a Communist. So we watch, and this year, we got to watch for a little bit longer into the tournament than in years past because we tied a couple of games and won one. If I am watching something for 90 fucking minutes, it better be over at the end of it. To invest that much time into something that can end in a tie is just a big fucking waste of time. I want to see Ghana compete with us on a level playing field ok? I’m talking war, baseball, American Football, McDonald’s eating marathons ok? Yes, given, Ghana you have us beat in soccer and running from Cheetahs, we will let you have that.

Oh yeah, and now we lost, so NO ONE cares about Soccer again for another 4 years, sorry Landon Donovan, enjoy working part-time at Starbucks.

So aside from  sporting new, Entourage started anew and that’s really the only HBO show I can comment on because I have yet to get into True Blood, I know I need to, I just have yet to. Entourage did come back, pretty lackluster, I think it’s going to be a good season but I know it lost a lot of support in Season 3 and I give it another year tops.

This morning on “The Early Show” they announced the cast of “Big Brother 13” I have yet to explore that so look for details next week on that!

So the most anyone has been watching would be the NBA finals, fuck that, or So You Think You Can Dance. So, as far as NBA Finals can go, Boston and LA is as good as anyone can hope for, and to go to Game 7 and to be a thriller like that…. what more can you ask for? Well, unless you’re like most people from Syracuse and you could give ONE flying fuck less about the NBA. Let’s be honest, no one cares about the NBA, Nets, Knickerbockers, NOTHING to get behind because they suck so royally it’s not worth our efforts.

So we move on to new TV shows!

Wipeout starts next week, and I can’t really stand this show. I don’t know why the people at ABC think that EVERY Japanese TV concept will relate to American TV, but this one does more so that “I Survived a Japanese Game Show”. Wipeout is just a lot of silly obstacles, and you know, someone is going to…wait for it…..WIPEOUT! So really, you’re watching for 30 minutes to see some overweight housewife from Omaha run face first into a big inflatable ball and fall into nasty water like she really stood a chance.

I vote to bring back MXC! Now that was a hilarious show! See, that’s the key, take a Japanese show and just make fun of it, because that’s what we at home are gonna do anyways.

Going on with new on ABC, the show “The Gates” premiers this week too on Sunday night, in place of Desperate Housewives reruns. This shit is taking fucking vampires just a wee bit too far. I guess the world underestimated the power of Twilight and it’s far reaching effects because we now have show #1,081 about fucking vampires and it’s on network TV which means its going to suck balls. Any real vamp fan is going to watch “True Blood” which I have not seen any of this season yet, but it’s on my DVR waiting for me.

So also new this week, look for new “Entourage” which seems to get worse and worse since “Aquaman” but the previews Pandora has been forcing me to watch do look promising.

Finally, in a matter of weeks we will have the return of “Dexter.”  Best.Fucking.Show.EVER. Period.  For those of you that say “Oh yeahhh, I’ve heard of that…” grow a set, go buy it on DVD and watch it from start to finish right now because it’s that fucking good. And of course with Dexter comes another one of my personal favorites, “Californication”. I don’t know what it is about this show, but I have never wanted to be David Duchovney(sp?) so much in my fucking life. He is just Tyler Durdin on TV… who fucks all these hot ass chicks.

1)      USA vs. Slovenia: Slovenia should not compete with the USA in ANYTHING! I don’t care what the competition. Slovenia?

2)      Hand balls?  I don’t get the rules, but pick the ball up and run with the god damned ball. Ya know what, then someone tackle the son of a bitch with the ball. THAT’S A SPORT.

3)       PUT YOUR FUCKING SHIRTS ON, FANS! I don’t need to see your fat, white European bodies. It’s bad enough, I have to see you on our Florida beaches. I don’t want to see you on my HDTV.

4)      There is one saving grace of Soccer… THE FEMALE BRAZILIAN SOCCER FANS!!!

As a matter of fact, I am warning Walk Up Radio listeners. I might start a bit called, the worst WUR Listener Status Of The Week! Post with care.

Gary Coleman passed away this past week, and so did part of my childhood. The first TV, I remember following was Different Strokes. I didn’t get it, I had no idea what two black kids from Harlem living in a Manhattan penthouse meant. I just thought the little kid was funny. Now that I know the whole story about, the life of Gary Coleman. I really am saddened that he didn’t reap the rewards of a successful TV show. I’m not turning soft, but the poor little guy was not saying What You Talkin Bout Willis by his choice. I’m guessing most 11 year olds don’t wake up, and want to work. His parents whored him out and like true pimps, the stole his cash. So he went on to be a broke security guard and died at an early age. His life may not have been as tragic as some who grow up with nothing, but to have it all… and never get to enjoy has to be a whole level of suck, I cant comprehend.

Those are my thoughts.. if you don’t like them, don’t read them!

In case you didn’t notice, this Ice Cave we call Syracuse keeps us in an igloo for 9 months out of the year. This means that when it does get above 45 outside, there is a mass exodus and everyone runs to soak up as much sun as they can.

This also means that no one is watching TV. Good for us, bad for TV programmers.

We’ve been shafted in the past forced to watch CRAP like “I Survived A Japanese Game Show” and “Wipeout”. Not every Japanese phenomenon translates to America.

So here in lies my  “Whats on TV this Summer?” Preview!!

Reality TV really seems to rule the day when it comes to Summer programming. Shows like “The Bachelorette”, “So You Think You Can Dance”, “Last Comic Standing”, and my personal favorite “Big Brother”.

The Bachelorette might be the dumbest idea for a show ever, right behind The Bachelor. I don’t see why people are interested in the social affairs of one hot big chested blonde, when we can spend plenty of time on porno cam sites getting a glimpse into the lives of hot big chested blondes who will show us the goods too? Any show based on the idea that “love is in the air” is full of shit. Fact. No two ways about it.

No one has and no one ever will find “True Love” amidst producers, cameras, red carpets, and gossip magazines.

So let’s move on to Josh’s favorite “So You Think You Can Dance”. Why don’t they just call it “American Idol….for Dancing…except no one knows who you are”. I will give a dollar to ANYONE who can give me the name of one person to win “SYTYCD” which I will use from now because the title is too long to type.

So it’s supposed to be average people with amazing dancing skills trying out for the role of a lifetime being a dancer!….again….something they probably failed at once before but they’re better than average so they make it through. I mean, most of the people on this show must have been dancers in some capacity, which means they weren’t good enough for something else where we would NEED dancers, so why are they good enough now?

I say leave the dancing to the stars, at least they throw on people we can all get behind making fun of, I’m looking at you Kate Gosselin. Speaking of Mother Goss, she will be back on TLC for her new show “Kate Plus Eight”. I have seen some previews and I really like that we’re supposed to feel sorry for this newly single mother having to raise 8 kids by herself. Showing her parading them through the airport and they’re getting out of hand! Oh no! Meanwhile off camera are all the makeup people, the kids personal stylists, PR people, and a harem of assistants ready to cater to their tiny needs when Kate has to argue with the woman at the ticket counter.

This brings me to my next item, the best show (statistics don’t lie, even when I make them up) BIG BROTHER!

I never really like this show, I actually boycotted it for sometime because I hated the idea of people being taped all the time. But as it would turn out, I LOVE knowing what 15 people are doing at any given time when they have NOTHING ELSE TO DO. There are no TVs, no cell phones, radios, NOTHING. I am pretty sure if the battery in my blackberry died I would have a fucking nervous breakdown and these people withstand the harshest conditions our society can dish out. Being cut off from the rest of the world.

Watch the first episode of Big Brother, you will not miss another one for the rest of the season, I guarantee.

So what else can you look forward to? All new episodes of long missed “Last Comic Standing”, and Paulie and Kevin favorite “Futurama”!!! and of course a bevy of shows on TNT and USA like “Royal Pains”, “Raising the Bar”, “Deadliest Catch” and lots of other favorites.

So that’s what we have to look forward too! Crap more crap and Big Brother! Oh and sports, but really the NHL Stanley Cup finals are already underway and the NBA Finals will be done by July 1st so how many Yankee games can we stick in?

This week we were lucky enough to get our hands on some tickets to the upcoming “Alice in Chains” concert, so we gave them away by testing everyone’s 90′s knowledge. It became pretty apparent that no one had any. Not to mention, Hunter wisely chose the most unstable looking man in the room to be a contestant. When then ended up punching Hunter in the leg and Hunter almost beat up a mentally challenged little league umpire. We’re not stable people.

We also call out the shithead who ran on the field at the Phillie’s game and request that tasing as simply not enough. Maybe some urine?

And speaking of urine, we welcomed Neil from “Poo Pee Targets;” a website where you can make custome stickers to put in your toilet, or urinal and piss or shit on it. Have I mentioned lately that I love this country? He gave us a stack of some celebrity ones he likes to give out including Tiger Woods, OJ Simpson, Martha Stewart. Hell, I just took a piss all over Ben Affleck! Will you be seeing Walk-Up Radio logos in Urinals all over Syracuse soon? You bet your God damn ass on it.

We also tried to review Paulie’s recent Tel-Auc appearance, but the audience pretty much hijacked the show by this point. Allergy girl listed off all her illnesses, Kelly tried to bully people, Rockaway tried to fight everyone and Miguel did… well, just listen.

The Shaun Luu Horror Fest

None of the Walk-Up hosts actually smoke weed (although Hunter pretends in an effort to stay young and hip), but our audience certainly does! Because of that we celebrated 4/21 — the day AFTER 4/20. It has no special significance other than we didn’t do our show on 4/20 and really, it’s all about us.

Josh told how he, his brother Joe, Andrew and Joel all went to KFC on Monday in a “Double Down” meet-up. The truth came out that while the other dudes only ate one, fatty Josh pounded two of them. Hunter then read off the crippling caloric intake and Josh promptly died of a heart attack. But next week, Jeff Meyer will attempt to eat FOUR Double Down during the course of the show. The vomit bucket is standing by.

This week’s show took a while to get going, but once it did, holy shit. Hunter is back, so we caught up with him. And he is very skinny. We welcomed a special guest, “Weaver” who we found at the open mic that takes place upstairs before the show and we could not take our eyes off him. Mostly because he wears plastic wrap on his head when he performs. Then Paulie opened up the flood gates by asking the question “Strip Club or Porno?”

We also discovered how crazy fun it is to end every line you say like a Def Jam comedian. That basically took up the last 15-minutes of the show. And it was awesome! Special thanks to KiKi for making it even better.

Is it just us, or is this the kind of video you see on the news after they find the basement full of women? Regardless, I like the dude and will have him back any time.

This week we all took a moment to recover from our experiences with Unique last week. Many of you thought I was afraid of Unique because I am afraid of black people. I am not afraid of black people. I am afraid of crazy people. And Unique was the king of that kingdom. But once we got passed all that, this has to be one of the best episodes in awhile.

There were so many great topics! Andrew being unbreakable, Kelly’s life-saving Palin impression, Paulie and I shitting our pants, racists running for public office. It’s just fantastic through and through. Thanks to everyone who came and made it so great. See you next week!

A new feature at Wise Guys is the open mic before our show. It’s held up at the bar and in it are some young comedians trying to really get their start and work on their craft. But also in there are fucking crazy people. Crazy people who have started wandering down to our show and getting on mic. This week’s episode featured Unique who is the craziest of the crazies and his son, who will someday have to bail his father out of prison.

Also, somewhere in this episode, we finally had our Drunk Gummie taste off. Who won? You’ll have to listen to find out. But special thanks to Elana, Wheels and Stein for judging. And for all of you insane bastards that got completely bombed on gummies soaked in booze. Are you proud of yourselves?

If you can make heads or tails of this show, I salute you. There was not only our show going on, but an open mic upstairs that was loud and running late. Because of this, our audience was distracted. Plus, Kelly was on stage and Elana wandered on too. Basically, it was a giant Clusterf*ck and somewhere in this episode you’ll hear content.

This probably isn’t the best show radio-wise, but if you had been there in person, you would have loved it. It was a very visual show. Especially when we finally hooked a hot, naked chick. Then god-damned Kelly CLOSED THE WINDOW! The level of anger from the men in the room could not be picked up on microphones, but it’s conveyed pretty well in my lack of breath and high-pitched voice.

Paulie is back! And he really had to re-aquatint himself with our audience. He had no idea what Drunk Gummies were. He didn’t know that Kelly does a killer Palin. He even forget that Kevin is a racist. But he got right back into it and we had a great time. But don’t get too comfortable. It’s tournament time, so he’s headed back out on the road with the #1 Mens College Basketball Team in the Nation, The Syracuse Orange!

The one and only ToTs stopped by to promote a bunch of different things he is into right now and give away some tickets to this weekend’s show at The Redhouse Arts Theater; “Radio Play” starring Reggie Watts! Reggie is amazing and our fans were excited at the chance to win tickets to his show.

How fun! We had special Guest Kerri stop by to do some name analysis on our audience. She was a big hit! I made sure Angry Andrew didn’t say anything so not to tip her off. I am always ready to call bullshit on someone, so by not letting Andrew speak, we kept his blatant personality quirks quiet. He then came to the mic and she NAILED HIM! We also played a great new came I called “Atari, Not Atari” to give out tickets to the upcoming Ataris show at The Westcott Theater. I would say a phrase anf the players had to tell me if this was a real Atari 2600 game or if I made it up. It was a blast.

Also, more Drunk Gummies showed up. These should be at every show. Always.

Sweet fancy Moses, we did it! We made it a whole year! 46 episodes of Walk-Up Radio delivered right into your ear holes and eye windows. And we celebrated with our biggest audience yet! We cannot thank you all so much. Those of you who have been with us from the very first episode, to those of us that discovered us later and haven’t missed a show since. It’s been a hell of a year and we look forward to many, many more. Or it could all fall apart tomorrow. Who knows.

For this episode, we had Bud Light Ben sit in the Paulie/Hunter chair (since they were both missing in action. We had asked him to bring some stuff to giveaway, so he basically emptied out the back of the Bud Light shed and dumped it in our arms. Beach chair, Kan-Jam, shirts, sweatbands. You know we love it all. And so did Kristen who played a game of “Dead or Alive.” Her Rockaway Beach attitude made us fear that if she didn’t win, she would be asking that same question of us; “Dead? or Alive?”

We also re-lived the wonderful episode where Kevin was exposed for shitting his pants in my car. That cannot be described in any way, so just listen.

But most importantly, we had a very special musical guest, Kaleena Goldsworthy of the band “The Scarlet Ending!” Her uke-jams won over the crowd and she is forever a member of the WUR Family.

What an interesting show! Kevin and Paulie were both at The SU/UConn game, so I brought in two guest hosts: Carolyn Castiglia and Elana Gianinno. I point out in the show that, usually, the most vagina we have on stage is Kevin, but tonight was full of um!

Elana was kind enough to do her very own cooking segment. It involved a tupperware dish full of gummi bears and half a bottle of vodka. Basically, they are vodka gummi bears and the crowd loved them. I thought we’d get at least ONE person topless, but that didn’t happen.

We also played a rousing game of Password-Fail. I call it that because, apparently, we aren’t playing Password at all. Rather, a version of the 10,000 Pyramid. Still, Kelly and Bill both won a pair of tickets to the Valentine’s Day show at Wise Guys. How nice!

There’s really no easy way to apologize for the things Kevin said in this show, but really, if you’re a fan of this show, you’re not surprised by anything Kevin says at this point. This one is a doozie, though.

We discussed some much lighter topics, though. Paulie is back and shared his stories of the road, most specifically, the soft core hotel porn he discovered. We also ran down the list of the gayest cities in America and to give you a hint; San Fran didn’t even makes the top 15!

Softcore aside, we discuss DVDA. Don’t know what that is, yet? Consider yourself lucky.

We also made a point to personally welcome every member of the audience due to some recent complaints that our shows aren’t very “welcoming.” In that process, we met a real great dude named Andrew from Protect Your Pair — a website created to bring awareness and raise money for ball cancer. And thankfully, on the topic of balls, Andrew was a great sport.

We dove into the utter lameness that is Jay Leno taking back the Tonight Show from Conan “CoCo” O’Brien. I gave the crowd and my co-hosts a little comedy history lesson on why Leno sucks so hard. Did it help? Probably not. Did I sound smart? Slightly.

Kevin tried to backpedal his terrible comments about Haiti and he failed miserably. And since I am posting this show a week late (and we taped the show AFTER this one just last night), wait until you hear what he comes out with next episode. It will astound you.

And finally, we explored the epic fail that is Mighty Putty. Ya know, the putty stuff that Billy Mays snorted/sold? Well, after further analysis, it sucked at FIRST. It smelled weird, was hard to puttify. Difficult to attach. But after the recommended 30 minutes, this shit was solid as a rock! So anything negative you hear on this episode, we kinda retract to a point. It did smell, was hard to puttify and sucked initially. But in the end, an epic fail because an epic WIN!

What a show! What a night! We tried to do something special for the Holiday season and hold our version of a “Holiday party.” That includes almost 100 bottles of Bud Light and tattoos. A perfect combo for fun.

Special thanks to Tymeless Tattoo of Baldwinsville for taking us in and then, in turn, agreeing to tattoo our logo on anyone crazy enough to do it. One of those people? Of course, our very own Kevin Keefe. Right on his ass cheek. Was he the only one? You’ll have to listen to find out.

We also had a killer “Dollar Store Gift Exchange.” Simple concept: anyone who wants to exchange gifts, brings a gift. But it has to be from the Dollar Store. We opened up some pretty amazing gifts.

And did I mention that ToTs lit the mic ablaze?

All in all, it was awesome and we thank everyone who came out. Here’s to an even bigger 2010!

But, it opened up the flood gates and allowed Paulie and Hunter to unleash some twisted logic about peanut allergies. To which my brother pointed out their flaw by equating it to wheelchair ramps.

We also covered some of the most dangerous toys of 2009 as well as how important college is. Which, in a way, is kinda linked. The dumb kids who ate the LEGOs and stabbed themselves with a pencil, probably weren’t thinking too much about higher education.

Josh and Kevin fly as a duo this week as while Paulie is recovering from the flu and while Hunter… well, Hunter just kinda comes once a month at this point. But luckily we had a very intoxicated Elana in the crowd to fill in the voids. She drunk-purchased a Mariah Carey Christmas Album from the 90′s, offered sexual favors for basically everything and then showed us her ass tattoo.

And speaking of tattoos, did you hear about our Christmas Eve Eve Tattoo Party? On December 23rd, we’ll be giving out free tattoos at Tymeless Tattoo in B’Ville. You better be there!

It was bound to happen eventually, but who would have guessed it would happen in the same show. Josh, then Hunter, then Kevin and finally Paulie all came out of the closet. Intentionally? Not at all. But it was all triggered by a steamy Taylor Lautner “Rolling Stone” cover and then dissolved into a sexually open conversation that sent some of our more homophobic fans into a tizzy.

We also played a great games called “Match That Drug.” It was discovered that between the four of us, we are taking more than 14 seperate medications. Most of them involving the words “psychotic” and “depression” in the description. Kevin, being the vain one, took mostly supplements and weight loss drugs, so they were easy to match. But you’ll have fun hearing the crazy drugs the rest of us are on.

What a night! Easily our biggest show of the year, with so many special guests. We all came together to celebrate the biggest drinking of the year with anyone but our annoying damn families. We had performances from Scott Danger Bravo and ToTs w/ Mix Master Mash. And special Guests Chris Gedney, Ted Long & Matt Park.

We had a very special heart to heart with Paulie’s friend and temporary roommate, Brian. Nothing I type here can even begin to explain the kind of shit this guys is into. Just listen.

We also played a celebrity packed “Match Game” in which three beloved Syracuse-area celebrities completely destroyed their careers by the inappropriate answers we pulled out of them. What a night!

We got pretty heated about the 2012 “End of The World” discussion. Josh and Paulie listed numerous reasons why it’s impossible. Kevin and Hunter preferred to remain terrified. This was all sparked from the fact that since John Cusack’s film 2012 was doing so well, he didn’t need to do the interview he had scheduled with Josh. As we say at Walk-Up, that;’s totally wieners and butts, Cusack.

This week’s show also featured the longest Match Game in the history of Walk-Up Radio. But in the end, one lucky person walked away with some killer Phish tickets. Who won? It’s a nail biter so you’ll have to listen!

Kevin and Josh flew solo this week as Hunter and Paulie were out. The show was full of rapid-fire topics like Dawn’s Yankee craziness, Paulie’s new relationship status, Christine’s new look, Local dude’s stolen bike, etc.

But, more importantly, we got our final qualifier for The Phish tickets! We played a game we called “Put It In The Can.” Bud Light Ben gave us a game of Kan-Jam which involves two plastic can shaped things and a Frisbee. If you got the Frisbee in the can, you were our qualifier! Luckily, we didn’t break any lights or mirrors and this qualifier will be playing against our previous qualifier for a pair of tickets to the sold out Phish show on November 22nd.

Light crowd this week due to the final game of the World Series, but we made the most of it.

Kevin Keefe has the ability to ruin sporting events. He goes to the World Series in Philly and they lose. He goes to an SU Men’s Basketball game and they lose to LeMoyne. It’s suspicious to all of us. But he still took time to dig into Paulie’s pink shirt.

We also had a great heart to heart with Angry Andrew because he didn’t get a job at Apple and discovered that he’s just a bully on-line and in real he’s a very sweet, nice guy. So we are in the process of finding an anger management coach to bring to the show and get Andrew on the right track.

We celebrated Sesame Street’s 40th birthday and Kevin was notified of his new superhero name: “The Incorrector.” Because everytime he tries to correct someone, he is 90% incorrect.

Then, The Grandpa Bandit made an appearance. Just listen to that.

This week, we talk about paying for dates. Paulie thinks the man always pays, no matter what. Josh disagrees. His wife pays for everything.

We then tried to dive into some Ghost stories which failed miserably. Then we ripped into Hunter for talking too young for his age since he wasn’t there to defend himself.

So when all else fails, bust open some Phil Collins. Nothing opens up a show better than some Phil Collins! The crowd was out of control. We could barely stop them from dancing. Kevin was making requests, but was requesting Peter Gabriel instead. Poor Kevin.

Then we qualified our first person for Phish tickets. The Jury delivers the…

So many hot topics this time around. Paulie was treated like an asshole by one of the comedians from Wise Guys. We discussed the benefits and downfalls of washing your kid’s mouth out with soap and some of the permanent damage that can or cannot be done. Paulie and Kevin argued about the beauty of Dollar Stores and Aldi.

But nothing got the crowd as crazy as a stupid, inflatable farmer costume I would wear in college while intoxicated. It proved once and for all that it’s not material that gets laughs. But rather mindless, visual appeals that get the crowd rolling. You win, Jeff Dunham.

What a weird show. Our usual fans were there, along with some new faces. But in the back was what appeared to be a gathering of the Red Hat Society. Eight or so older women (one of them had to be over 80) who came out to see the show. And it froze us in our place. We didn’t know how to act. How to talk. Anything.

Ben had a beef to pick with Kevin, but kept it calm. We wanted to discuss Letterman, but kept it low key. We couldn’t swear or talking about anything because it felt like our grandmothers were in the crowd. Luckily, 20 minutes in, they took their wine and left. Which is good because one of the new faces said “Your show sucked in the beginning.” Trust us. WE KNOW!

After the dainty ladies left, we finally got going. Kevin played a game of “Win Kevin’s Cooler” where he lost a Bud Light cooler to a wonderful contestant named Jake. It was a fun, wholesome game.

This week we welcomed mild-mannered guitar hero, Scott Danger Bravo! Unassuming school bus driver by day. Shredtastic guitar virtuoso by night, he took our show to a level of talent we cannot possibly live up to. It’s the same thing that happens when ToTs and Mix Master Mash come by — our show suddenly doesn’t seem that good compared to the real talent on stage.

But thankfully, we whipped out some drinking stories about getting in fights and breaking into buildings that really balanced things out. Plus, we all started to admit to the kind of things that make us cry, like visiting stadiums and shows like “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Tool Academy” (Andrew).

Plus, Paulie is being tracked by the IRS. Awesome.

It’s hard to have an interactive performance when people aren’t interacting. This is something that puts Paulie right over the top, but luckily, his hatred of children and his own life spurred some conversation!

We cannot go out to eat if there are children crying in the background. He loses his mind. Myself and Hunter (being parents) can just block it out, but he often wants to bring physical harm to a child. Paulie should see someone about that.

And once he does get home, he turns on Antiques Roadshow to see that people have junk laying around their basements that is worth more than he’ll make in an entire lifetime. Poor Paulie. Someone love him.

I feel bad for Hunter, I really do. he wants nothing more than to have one of his words take off and be part of everyday vernacular. Then, just one show after his attempt at “Hilmodouche,” TWO great pieces of dialouge were introduced: “Meatus” and “Shut The Fuck Your Face.”

Meatus has always been one of my favorite words and I love sharing it with anyone who may be interested. This week’s show gave me a prime opportunity to do so. As for “STFYF,” that’s just something our favorite stoner Lila came out with and honestly, it’s the greatest phrase ever.

Hunter did sports. Paulie did news. Kevin didn’t stop talking. And I just wished I was home in bed.
A great time was had by all.

Well, he’s done it again, folks. Hunter Scott is trying his damndest to crowbar another one of his made-up words into society. This time around it’s Hilmodouche — a combination of a “Hilljack,” “Homosexual” and obviously “Douchebag.” It was really hard for me to understand how someone would be a combo of all these things, and I can imagine it’s hard for you to understand too so I created the image you see below:

There’s a few things you cannot miss. He is obviously a Hilljack. His combo of beard, overalls and hat showcase that. The homosexual angle is pretty straight forward as well. He is really enjoying the two gentlemen sucking face behind him. And really, who wouldn’t? And finally, this thumbs up encompass the “douche” because throwing thumbs up in a photo is always a douche move.

Now, being the huge WWF fan I was growing up, I would like to apologize to Hillbilly Jim for using his likeness in this photoshop. He gave me two for three and I just could not pass it up. If we run into eachother ever, Mr. Morris, you are invited to give me the strongest Bear Hug you’ve ever given… which is actually kinda gay now that I think about it. Oh, Jim…

This week we brought up the wonderful world of Farmville and how it has turned Hunter’s children into Facebook addicts. Also, with the Great NYS Fair happening this week, we raised a fantastic question — would you rather your daughter be a stripper or a carnie?

We played the Match Game and gave out a pair of Kid Rock tickets that were promptly sold by the winner. Can’t say I blame her in the least. And happening around all this, our favorite house band, ToTs and Mix Master Mash stopped by to play some jams. All in all, I’;d say it was the best possibly way to kick off the Fall season of Walk-Up Radio!

This week is kind of a 2-for-1 deal. I never uploaded LAST week’s show, so I just did that and now here’s this one. You’re so very lucky!

If you recall, about a month and a half ago, Kevin mentioned he was taking some kinda of jazzersize Karate class or something. It wasn’t anything Jackie Chan would be teaching. more like a room of women in tights, I believe.

Regardless, he claimed he could break a regulation size board just from taking these classes. We challanged him to do it. He had one month.

His training included watching various YouTube videos. That’s basically it.

We also talked about a 200-person brawl that broke out in Syracuse on Salina street. We didn’t have anything quite as serious during our taping, but a 2 person brawl almost erupted. Kevin and Hunter were at eachother’s throats, so Bud Light Ben thought the only way to purge that anger was to draw Hunter’s face on the board he would attempt to break.

This was a show full of douchiness. Hunter and Kevin fought all douche-style. The douches in Syracuse had a 200-person-brawl. A piece of wood got all douchey and Kevin had to break it’s face. It happens. Watch the video below!

We’ve been getting letters from many concerned parents about Hunter’s dirty side. His comedy comes from a dark, scary place and from there comes an inappropriate volcano of sexually repressed, angry humor. Because of that, Paulie and I planned an intervention. Did we know it’d have to happen so soon in the show? No. We were just trying to talk about a child’s toy that demonstrates breast feeding and it somehow disseminated into “Baby Stretchmark.”

Also, he invented the “Two Nation Vacation.” Insane.

Sometimes when you’re taping a live podcast you encounter an audience similar to Phil Hartman’s “Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer.” They know not of these fancy “national news stories” or dead pop culture icons. So when such topics as the Pittsburgh LA Fitness shooting or the death of John Hughes come up, they stare blankly at you as if you ask “don’t you guys usually talk about dicks and balls?”

See, a regular radio show has the luxury of being able to talk and talk without knowing if the audience is with them or not until the ratings book comes out. In our case, we have IMMEDIATE feedback — in this case, scalding, deafening blank stares of hate.

So when that happens, the only thing left to do is play you favorite crappy songs for 35 minutes and hope to salvage what is left of your show. Mission accomplished.

Sometimes life is hard. There’s an attractive girl in the bar. You’re checkin’ her out. Maybe getting ready to make a move and then she busts out with one of the most racist things you’ve ever heard. That would be Dawn and that’s what happened this week.

And it’s tough, because then you start to ask yourself: does hotness outweigh bigotry? That’s a question you will need to answer on your own. As for Paulie, he made the difficult decision to choose morality over masturbation and for that, I applaud him.

Kevin also explained to us what a Pond Hop was. If you already know, you’re just as backwoods as I am. They are awesome and I love them.

After the break, we played a game of “Are You Smarter than Andy The Slut?” I asked Andy a series of common-knowledge questions and recorded his answers. The contestants had to guess whether he got it correct or not. You’ll be surprised by some of his answers.

And really, some of you might pretend like these topics are too nasty for your likes, but judging by our downloads lately, you’re all listening to it. Plus, you might think “well, that’s what guys like,” but you’d be wrong! Our current demographics are 96% Adults, 25-34. And of those listeners, 53% are women! So, come on now, ladies. You like when things get nasty. Or maybe you just like Hunter’s deep, radio-friendly voice?

Kick yourself in the ass if you missed this show. We had so many reasons for you to come! Hunter was finally back. We gave away more VIP Dave Matthews tickets . And on top of all of that shiz, we had a killer musical guest: Potato-based hip-hopper and Syracuse Art Scene regular ToTs (with his DJ, Mix Master Mash). How many other MC’s do you know at only rap about the po-ta-to?

In usual Hunter form, he had to call someone out for being a douche which he did to me only seconds into the show. Personally, I think he loves to call people out because he’s so very insecure about his own douchiness. I can say that because I know he doesn’t even come to this web site. Also, later in the show, Hunter and his life partner Paulie called out Kevin for being on some buffness plan called P90X. Yeah, I can agree with them on the douchiness of that, but listen. If Kevin DIDN’T do stupid shit to his body in hopes of becoming buff, we’d lose about 80% of our material, so Kevin — keep at it!

We also played a great game of our own invention called “Name That Dave.” We compiled a list of about 50 famous Daves or Davids. We gave our contestents clues and they had to guess the Dave. I think we might need to call the Game Show Network on this one. We could do famous Mikes. Famous Dianes. It’s almost endless!

And in the middle of this orgy of entertainment, ToTs got crispy on the mic! He performed “C.R.I.S.P.Y.” during the show and after the taping, he performed “Tater-Haters.” Both songs are off his upcoming album “Au No You Didn’t.” Luckily for you, though, we have BOTH live tracks available for download right now. We are in a 1970′s Game Show rut lately. But it’s a good kind of rut.
We’re having an awesome time.

Two weeks ago we played “Password” with Andy the Slut. Last week we played just a game of our invention, but with a 70′s feel. And this week, Paulie Beer Can (PBC) asked us to resurrect one of his favorite games — “The Match Game!” Well, seeing as we need to give out these VIP Dave Matthews Band tickets somehow! Otherwise, we let Andy hash it out with Kevin becuase of a recent disrespectful gesture made on kevin’s behalf. As you know, Andy is the creator of the hot new catchphrase “I Stick My Dick in it. It’s What I Do.” And really, for him, there’s no truer statement. He does and it is. But Kevin’s co-workers had the audacity to make Kevin a birthday cake with this slogan on it and let’s just say Paulie was none to happy.

He did puss out, though. That morning, he was making it sound like he was going to take a board upside Kevin’s head. By the time the show started, he had calmed down. Paulie was looking for a fight.

And then Annie took us down a long, dark hallway of boring with her story about her boob getting bitten. She tricked us because it was about her boob, but the story was death. She has offered to blow Kevin for some dave Matthews band tickets, so maybe she can redeem herself on next week’s show…

What a show! Definitely our biggest crowd yet. We packed Bull & Bear full of many new WUR fans. It’d be supreme ignorance, though, if I didn’t admit to you that 50% of the crowd was there to win Dave Matthews Band Tickets. We had a lot of work to do this week. We had to make up for LAST week’s train wreck of a show. And I think we did it.

Bud Light Ben has gotten to the point where he tries to pull a Kreskin and he writes down WHAT we will pick on him about during that show. He’s damn good. Three for three. Plus, Mary showed up sober which I think was a first. I don’t believe she left sober, though.

We announced the “Kevin Board Breaking Challenge.” He stupidly thinks he can break a board with his hand after just one month of training. To make him feel better, I also said I would rip a phone book in half. Why? Because me failing at ripping a phonebook in half will not result in a shattered hand. The Board Breaking Challenge will take place at our August 13th taping, so come watch. It’s two days after my birthday. And oh, what a birthday gift it will be.

We had to (I think by law) open this week’s show with a composite sketch we recieved from The City of Syracuse Police Department. There was a man who grabbed a woman at Onondaga Lake Park while she was rollerblading and showed her his penis. The man got away, but the woman was able to describe him in great detail to the police. Unfortunatley for someone on the show, the woman described Hunter Scott.

Details included: “Approx. 5’6, 200 pounds, 35-45 years old.” All of which describe our friend. Now, he claims he had nothing to do with it, but his family is still in Ohio and he has nothing to do at night so the idea of him wandering Onondaga Lake Park trying to show woman his lunchables isn’t really far fetched. You’ll see the resemblence in the photo above.

We also called Bud Light Ben out for his douchebag past. I was looking at his photos on Facebook and came to the conclusion that he could have become a supreme douche (spray tan, popped collar, hair gel), but he came to a fork in the road and picked the non-douche path. How did this happen? His response: “I died.”

You get Ben West in a room and the show is bound to be fun. For those of you who don’t know Ben, he works for Bud Light and his job is basically to go around to bars, promote Bud Light and give people free beer. Not to mention, he’s attractive, young and hip. Because of that, this taping had more girls at the bar than we’ve EVER had before. They were all there to talk to Ben and hopefully sleep with him.

One of the girls we met was “Mary,” who basically is the coolest chick ever. Hunter and Kevin could barely contain themselves. She’s already vowed to become a Walk-Up Radio Groupie, so hey, good for us!

Since this taping was so full of sexual tension and stories about Ben dying, we barely had time to focus on our actual guests – The creators, directors and cast of “Monkey’s Wear Cement Shoes.” They’ve created a hilarious mob parody movie filmed all here in Central New York! So you can pretty much listen to one episode of Walk-Up Radio and realize that we’re the smartest idiots on the planet. For some reason, we’re very bright and know a lot of random trivia, big words, and every film ever made. That said, we’re also incredibly stupid. This is made very apparent in this episode. You see, Hunter saw a photo in a tabloid magazine with Jennifer Aniston and Steve Zahn. The subtitle was “Married!” Therefore, he told us they we were married and since none of us do any background checking whatsoever, we believed it. Luckily, it sparked an INSANELY heated debate. It also dissolved into a personal attack on Steve Zahn as a person. We don’t know Mr. Zahn. Never met the guy. I am sure he’s very nice, so for that, we’re sorry, Steve Zahn.

We also had the very wonderful Madame Trixie stop by to discuss her upcoming Burlesque Shows. She was fascinating, smart, witty, and of course beautiful.

I should also address the fact that we kinda vanished for a week. The reason being, I had a baby! Well, my wife HAD the baby. I held a leg and told her she was doing great. Which she was. My daughter’s name is Lena Irene Grosvent and as Kevin posted on our Twitter account, she was born at the age 73. Yes, it’s a very old-fashioned name, but she is beautiful and so is the name.

So yeah, we’re back in business now.

Kevin’s back from Vegas. Andy the Slut hit number 98 on his “Quest to 100,” and my friend, Comedian Carolyn Castiglia stopped by. All in all, it was a pretty fun show!

As for the title of this episode, you’re gonna need to listen for the details. It’s not exactly for all ages, but really, when is any episode? We did figure out Beer Can’s soft spot — being compared to Andy the Slut. A pretty heated debate broke out over who is the bigger loser. Been Can has been blessed with massive genitals, but really not much else. Andy the Slut has been blessed with the gift of puss attraction, but still has to have his ex-wife pay his bills and buy him things. Are their lives awesome? Absolutely.

Carolyn tried to figure them both out, but that interview just kinda dissolved into discussing her terrible divorce and how she met her (soon to be) ex- husband when she was banging him in college. Did I mention he was her professor? Zing!

As we get closer and closer to my baby launching into this world, i seem to have less and less time. That’s no excuse to why I didn’t put the show up until now (mind you, if you BECOME A FAN on Facebook, I post the shows there on Fridays!). Just know that once this girl IS born, we’ll be taking two weeks off, so soak us in now.

We of course discussed Swine Flu since everyone is. As of print, people are seemingly caring less and less about it. Even the schools here in Syracuse that closed out of panic are re-open now. It’s just the flu. What can you do?

A retarded Billy Fucillo, homophobic Parrots, the end of the world, deadly spider bites, you name it. We covered it. A great crowd turned up with plenty of regulars and we covered a great span of topics. Drunk Annie & Terri had just finished doing the deed and stupidly thought we wouldn’t notice. Well, when Terri is sitting in a daze in the back row nursing a cranberry and vodka, it sent up some red flags. We had to call them out on it.

Joel came and showed us his nasty spider bite which scared the hell out of Caleb and the rest of us. How the hell do deadly spiders even live in this climate? We get sub-zero in the winter and are covered in mountains of snow for 6 months. Explain to me how these widow makers survive. We barely survive!

Usually, we find a way to discuss Kevin’s deep seeded homosexual tendencies (although, we barely touched on it this week), but the real revelations didn’t come until after the show itself when the drunken crew — Kevin, Hunter, Andy The Slut & Steve Todd — went out for dinner. I got a phone voice mail around 9pm explaining how “Kevin is Gay.” Their drunken argument this time was that “he’s gay because he sits down to masturbate.” Personally, I don’t see this as gay or weird. How else are you supposed to do it? Standing? Cartwheels? Their logic didn’t make sense to me, so I’ll bring it up next week.

This was probably one of the sleaziest shows yet. not because of anything we did, specifically, but because our friend Andy stopped by to talk about his “Quest to 100.” See, Andy has slept with 95 women in his 28 years. Nasty, yes. Impressive, yes. I’ve been told we spent too much time talking to him about it, but as a man who has been with only a fraction of that many women, you do need to understand my amazement.

Could I have had more if I lowered the bar as far as Andy has in his quest? Hell yes. It’s definitely quantity over quality in this case. Still, the fact that out of that many women, he’s only made one child and has no S.T.D.’s – come on. The kid should play the lotto. Or maybe he already is? Just a different kind of “lotto.”

We also learned that Kevin sits down to pee. Really, are you surprised? We weren’t.
Take a minute to read his rebuttal, though. It just makes it worse, but he tried.

Basically, yes. Kevin is a woman. Once again, he opened himself up to endless ridicule by describing his flawless curling iron defense methods. One thing we can always count on is that Kevin will say something stupid and we can laugh at him about it. He never disappoints and for that, we adore him.

We also heavily promoted that Kidd Chris from The Howard Stern show would come by and jump on the mic. He did the first part of that; not the latter. It didn’t seem like he was in the mood to participate in our show, so he just kinda hung on stage with us. Take a look in the photo section for photographic proof. We are not liars.

This week we had to unfortunately make due without Hunter. His little boy was having his tonsils out back in Ohio and he was a good Dad and went home to be there with him. Too bad, though. He missed out on a very important topic: Which Muppet Would You Do?

A topic Kevin and Hunter explored the night before at Buffalo Wild Wings with our friend Allison, but suddenly took on a more in depth role in this week’s episode. See, it’s not strictly about sex; but who would be the better lover? Who would be the most compassionate? Who’s the biggest narcissist? It’s your call. And really, what IS Big Bird anyways? Kevin pointed out there’s not many female Muppets, so it’s either Go Gay or Go Home. Liz did mention there’s a new female named Abby Cadabby who is available for love making, but now that I have found this picture of her, I really don’t feel comfortable talking about it any further.

This week we moved to our new home, “Bull & Bear Pub.” It’s a much better fit for this show than our last location. Better sound, stage, audience, everything. Be sure to come out and drink booze and participate in the show. It’s in such an amazing location – Hanover Square in Syracuse, NY. It’s a beautiful area and if you get bored with the show, you can just peek into people’s apartment windows since everyone down there seems to have flat screen TV’s measuring over 50 inches. Not that we would condone such illegal activities, but hey, do what you gotta do.

We also took time to explore our newest catch-phrase – “Wieners and Butts.” Not sure exactly what it means, but you’ll discover it’s a total joy to say and use in everyday life. Your boss is pissing you off? “Weiners and Butts.” Slam your finger in a car door? “Weiners and Butts!” The list goes on. We gave some prime examples.

Other than that, Randy Travis stopped by and creeped/annoyed the hell out of us. He is a special fellow. Speaking of creepy, here’s a terrifying picture of a hairless cat Hunter say at the pet shop. Have your pets spayed or neutered. Or adopted by “Doctor Claw” from Inspector Gadget.

I have not seen Watchmen. I probably won’t see Watchmen. Nothing about it interest me and I know that’s tough to say as a man (because we’re supposed to love superhero movies). Sure, it looks action packed or whatever but as you’ll hear in this episode, I don’t think anyone even knows what it’s about. Kevin and Hunter both went to the advanced screening on Monday and both of them came oput with completely different understandings of the movie. They could both agree on one thing, though – Blucockie.

Plot aside, they both seem to be haunted by the giant blue penis that remains exposed throughout the film. Do I think this showcases their closeted homosexual curiousities? Yes, I do. Do I think they will ever come to terms with those feelings and embrace eachother in a confusing, yet romantic moment by a lake somewhere? Yes, I do.

We did have a little trouble this week. Apparently, the 20 people we brought to Clark’s Ale House to watch the taping, buy their beer and buy their sandwhiches were being “too loud” for the three people downstairs. Because of that, we have decided to move the show elsewhere, which is unfortunate. Clark’s was a great home for us to get this thing off the ground, but it seems that we have outgrown it’s walls already. No hard feelings. Well, maybe a few.

I will have an official announcment this week about our new taping location(s) via twitter & Facebook, so stay tuned!

The easiest thing we could have done here was entitled the episode “Kevin Shits His Pants.” Why? Because that seems to be the only thing I remember about this whole taping. Sure, there’s 30 extra minutes of show, but the real gold comes from Kevin telling the story about how he shit his pants in my car.

Any normal person would have thought to themselves “ya know, Josh was the only witness to this. I can just deny it forever.” Instead, Kevin admits to it and explains in disgusting detail every element of that faithful day. Sure, this episode talks about The Octomom and Rocky the Snakehead Fish, but really, it should be known simply as “Kevin Shits His Pants.”

But, in our constant effor to not be as vulgar as our minds want us to be (so we can appeal to a larger audience, and be safe to play at work), I will stick to the cleaner title of “Kevin Makes an Oopsie.”

The show is called “The Toothpick City” because we do our show right next door to The MoST in Syracuse and there’s a gentleman building a massive city out of toothpicks. Apparently he’s married to a hot doctor and this is all he does. We picked on him, but I think in many ways we envy him.

We did have a great interview with David Miller, too. He is involved with a new documentary about Green Power and Alternative energy called “Fuel“. The film is actually doing really well at many different festivals and just won the Audience Choice Award for “Best Documentary” at Sundance (a fact you can see in the youtube preview below).
